You're not supposed to put laptops on soft or uneven surfaces like cushions or beds. It obstructs the fan behind the base of the screen, resulting in overheating and failure of the device.
Hi Steve! Maybe at a glance, but after a while they start resembling Bert and Ernie's head shapes. Luckily Vertigo's famed for it's unsettling imagery, so hopefully I'll get away with it.
